BRG 2026 - Culture, Outlook, Comp

Wondering thoughts on firm culture, comp, and differences between offices (Boston, NYC, LA). Gotten a few massive retail mandates recently (Saks, F21, Eddie Bauer), so looks to be on the come up.

Also very solid UCC and Secured Creditor shop, outside of the retail space. Would consider BRG, Province, FTI, and M3 the “T1s” when it comes to creditor side work. No real color on comp or culture tho. Would imagine comp is in line with FTI and Ankura though, which (to my knowledge) fluctuate mildly above and below MBB.

Do people in BRG RX exit well down the line if they want to do so? Feel like I haven't seen any notable exits from them. Are some RX consulting firms better for exits than others?

That's fair. Most of the folks I worked with / know are still there because RX Consulting is an exit in and of itself, too lazy / comfortable, etc.

Exits will be idiosyncratic primarily based on the types of work you've done - Have seen BRG folks move to other RX shops (IB, Consulting), Private Credit to Strategy & Operations or FP&A.
