Can I Apply To Deloitte Consulting??

Hey everyone,

So I'm a junior at a top 40 university in the U.S. I am working on applying to management consulting internships (working internally with what my school offers and applying externally through company websites). I have a 3.5+ GPA in Finance, but have great extracurriculars and great work experience that I think make up for that. I also interview quite well.

My school Is pretty highly regarded, but sadly doesn't make the cut to be included in the online application for Deloitte Consulting. When you go to the Deloitte site to search for an internship each position is followed by "- Elite University Name". There is not one of these applications for my university so I am wondering if I can get around this.

As Deloitte Consulting is clearly is not recruiting at my school, is there any way at all for me to apply? I have searched and searched through the job postings and cannot find a general internship application for us common folk not at the very top universities.

Anyone have recommendations for what I should do? I know there is the route of networking/finding someone at Deloitte who can help me get my resume in. I would be happy to hear some tips on how to make that work. But aside from that option, Is there anything else I should try? Just wondering if I am missing anything. To be honest, I was shocked that there was not even a single general internship posting.

It would be great to hear from someone who was in a similar situation to me if possible! And don't be afraid to tell it like it is either. Not looking for a fairytale answer to make me feel better. If there's no shot that's fine as there are other consultancies that I can apply for of course. Just wondering specifically about Deloitte.
