Can I get an MBB interview with a 3.5 gpa?

I go to a top target school, have a higher departmental, strong extracurriculars (varsity athlete and other), and good work experience (nothing too flashy but one good name brand). My freshman year gpa is also what's bringing me down. How likely is it that I will be able to get an interview offer? In addition, what can I do at this point which will help my chances?

Yes you can, I was in the same position as you (minus the athlete part) with a 3.4 GPA and got interviews at 2/3 of the MBB firms. At this point you should try reaching out to any alumni from your extracurriculars or school in general and do some networking. If you can form a solid relationship with 2-3 people at each firm who would vouch for you then you should be in a pretty good spot to get an interview.
