That's a good point. The website is really general in regards to what type of competition it is. They say that the case might be from any industry. They'll give us a week to come up with a Powerpoint and then present it to the judges. The topic will be given to us just before that week starts. This is my first case competition, so general tips or advice would probably be most helpful.

 

So that you stop bumping your own thread...

  1. Treat it like a visual essay. Tell them what you're gonna tell them. Tell them. Tell them what you told them.

  2. Current Situation, Analysis / Issue Identification, Alternatives, Decision Criteria, Recommendation, Implementation, Risks & Mitigation. That'll work for 90% of cases

  3. Practice your presentation more than you think is necessary. Clear voice, pronounce the words, don't stutter / um / ah, and act like an adult when presenting.
