Case Tips?
What are some of your best tips or strategies when handling a consulting case interview? I know there is a structure to answering the case but are there any specific tips that would help me stand out?
Really, doing well in cases is mostly about doing the basics really well. I don't really care if someone happens to know a lot about industry X if they can't lay out a simple effective structure, do basic calcs erorr-free, communicate clearly, or come to a single recommendation based on the information they found.
In that spirit, here are some general tips for casing:
Master the basics. listen to the interviewer and be coachable, try to drive the conversation, and have a firm recommendation at the end.
