Choosing a School for MSc in analytics or strategy to get into Strategy/Management Consulting

Hi All,

I have been looking through some MSc courses around business analysis and strategy for getting into a top firm in the UK or Europe. The plan is to get into Management or Strategy Consulting  in growth at a Big3, Big4 or Strategy&, Oliver Wyman etc.

As an international student, I will have language barriers and would prefer primarily English speaking countries. Having a 3 Year work ex in Business consulting with a Big4, I feel comfortable into getting into the colleges I have applied: in the UK - Imperial, CASS, Manchester, Edinburgh, Lancaster and Warwick.

Would you suggest this is the right path to get into the mentioned firms? Given that the courses have equally likeable curriculum, which one of these colleges seem best? note: I am not going for an MBA as that would be a closure/perhaps the last degree that Id academically attend.

Some of these schools also offer MSc in business analytics, the area is certainly not my favourite lol, but a lot of management consultancies hire these students and I think if its got better chances for a proper career. There is a program at ESCP - Digital Transformation and Leadership which doesn't require me to learn French, and it has a good mix of analytics, strategy and consulting career outcomes, Im not sure if the inability to speak French will make a big impact if I go with ESCP.

Ritvik

analytics skills are the path with much less resistance. Especially if you lacked them prior. Spoke to an MBB partner back when I was in college and he said that they overwhelmingly prefer STEM students with technical skills sans a few outliars.
