CO roles I should be targeting for junior internship and CRE background

I’m a rising junior at an elite LAC who originally hoped to go into CRE postgrad but, with the RE market as it is now, is thinking about expanding my current search for next summer to include consulting firms. I think there’s a strong story to say “the thing that appealed to me about CRE was wearing a lot of diff hats, etc and I see that in consulting too” in terms of interviewing, but wondering what types of roles I should be targeting.

I have a 4.03 GPA as an Econ math double major and interned my freshman winter at a super elite real estate development company (Hudson Yards developer). I’ve worked on campus as a data analyst, multi-variable calculus TA, and admissions associate. I’ve always been a part of the consulting club. The thing that’s making me branch out is my opportunity for this past summer having fallen through due to market volatility.

What I’m wondering is what types of roles I’m competitive for and what I should be looking at. Am I a competitive applicant for EY, Analysis Group, PwC, etc? Should I try at MBB? Should I just stick with boutique firms? Any advice is great, I feel super out of the loop on consulting coming now and want to get on my feet and have an internship for next summer at least. It might be an advantage that I’m really willing to go anywhere for work, not tied to a specific region. Comp isn’t as important to me as exit opportunities.
