Considering switching from CIB to Consulting. Thoughts?

I’m currently almost 2 years working in CIB at a large Asian bank. I’ve considered consulting mainly for the advisory experience, traveling, etc.

How difficult would this be? I am an A2 right now, how would that transfer over into consulting? I also currently make $105 + 25-30% bonus, would consulting be somewhere in that range? I’m curious to hear thoughts on this.
