Consulting Benefits
It's fairly obvious the salary in consulting is pretty nice, but would about benefits?
Retirement contributions?
Healthcare contributions? I currently pay nothing but I know other people that pay hundreds a month
Lunch provided? Dinner budget if you stay at the office late?
Varies by firm, but the benefits are typically top notch. At MBB, retirement contributions range 5-15% depending on firm and seniority, full healthcare premiums are paid, and expense policies are generous. Also, PTO is generally 4-5 weeks and there are tons of generous situation-specific benefits (e.g. parental leave, etc.).
