Consulting in Hong Kong
Anyone here knows how consulting is in Hong Kong? how different is the day-to-day work from its Western counterpart etc? any info is appreciated on this.

Anyone do strategy consulting in Hong Kong? Any differences in pay/experience/advancement opps between HK and US offices?
My goal 5 to 10 years down the line is to end up in HK or China. No doubt HK is the door to China, but I'm wondering if US experience would be more valuable at entry level.
my gf works for mck in hk...seems like pay/experience is the same here as the US...if anything, the work might be more interesting in asia...mck actually allows their analysts to work pretty much anywhere, regardless of your home base...for ex another friend of mine at mck hk worked in the middle east for a project, then went to norway for another one...and another friend of mine who's at bain in sanfran did a 6 month rotation in hk...
what language requirements are there to work in HK? Written and spoken mandarin and cantonese?
