Consulting with a 3.6 GPA from HYP possible?
Is it possible to get into consulting with a 3.6 GPA? I know it's important to network and prepare for cases, but it looks like the MBB firms look for 3.8+. Are Deloitte or Accenture or IBM and other second tier firms any more forgiving? I go to a HYP and I'm a liberal arts major.
Depending on your extracurriculars and work experience, you may still be competitive for MBB. Second tier firms will be more forgiving, but again it depends on the rest of your profile. Definitely don't give up on MBB or second tier firms! Also, are you a rising junior or senior?
Agreed with this. If you can add a language or coding skill as a bonus you'll be more attractive on the job market.
