CV for a pre-MBA interview
Background: non-prestigious state school, 2 years at a F10, white male. Recently applied to Harvard and Wharton only. Accepted to Wharton, expect to hear soon from Harvard (I aced the interview and expect to be accepted).
Situation: want to transition to MBB, but would prefer to do it without wasting 2 years at a b-school (the office I am applying to often hires associates with a couple of years of industry experience without an MBA). A consultant I met recently offered me an interview and asked to send him my CV. He doesn’t know I applied to b-schools. Also, my CV actually doesn’t look too competitive.
Question: On the CV that I’m about to send, should I mention being accepted to Wharton? On one hand, I don’t want to be told "Great, hope to see you in 2 years when you finish your MBA." On the other hand, I feel I need to mention Wharton because I went to a non-prestigious state school.
Also, how and where on CV should I mention it? Also, should I mention Harvard on CV or in an interview?
