D1 Athlete but from low tier academic

I am a D1 college basketball player going into my senior year and currently trying to break into consulting. I currently have two undergrads in finance and international business, 3.42 GPA, and will be finished with an MBA in the spring, 3.8 GPA. The problem is my school is low tier academically, and we have an atrocious career center. Also, I can't network because there are no alumni from my school in consulting. I am going to get in another school's career fair, which is about two hours away, because they are a much higher tier academically. Any advice or realistic items would be greatly appreciated.
