I recently received an offer from Deloitte Consulting as a BTA in their commercial sector. Do first year analysts get a performance bonus? If so, what is the average?
Also, I am really interested in the S&O division. How difficult is it to switch from the technology side?

Which office are you in? For my office (Asia), I was told that it is not encouraged (and hard) to move between capabilities. Much easier to move between industries.
Tech to S&O doesn't really happen other than at Transition points (MBA).
There are bonuses but I don't know if they are considered performance bonuses.
