Deloitte Strategy and Operations Consulting

Hi everyone,

I recently received an offer for Deloitte BA Strat and Ops from on-campus recruiting and was wondering what your thoughts are about this job for someone just coming out of undergrad, and the opportunities it affords a few years out. Moreover, I would like to hear what you think of this position relative to investment banking and econ consulting--other places I have been interviewing at.

thanks in advance for the advice

its not really like an analyst role in investment banking or econ consulting whatsoever.

exit ops...top MBA and then whatever you want to do (obviously this depends on a lot of other factors).

also, the finance dept/strategy dept of a client.

if you want to network, then mm ib is a possible exit opp.

i would fight for assignments that are transaction oriented (financings, m&a, divestitures, etc.) for the most relevant experience for high finance exit ops

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.
