Do consulting firms hire candidates from MEng degrees?
I'm thinking of applying to MEng programs in IEOR at Berkeley/Cornell, etc. Do MBB firms hire candidates from such MEng programs? What about MS programs?
I've a perception that MBBs generally group students from MEng, MS and Bachelors degrees from a particular college into the same pool and then pick out the top candidates irrespective of program type. Is that true?
bump!
My firm looks specifically at undergrads, even if graduate students (non-MBA) are in the pool. That said, we don't do much advanced candidate hiring, so it may vary depending on the firm.
