Does Bain Do Experienced Hires for Associate Consultant (Post-Undergrad Role)
Hey everyone, currently 2 years out of undergrad working in industry. Looking to transition to MBB consulting as an experienced hire for the entry level role business analyst, associate, and associate consultant. I know for a fact that mckinsey and bcg both interview and hire experienced hires for these roles, but i cannot find any evidence that Bain does. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I've seen it happen before, but it was usually only one or two people out of a class of 30+. You would also start as a first-year Associate Consultant (at least in the US - internationally there's a bit more leeway).
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I would assume that I would have to start over as a first year if I was fortunate enough to secure a position, but just wanted to see if they actually have hired people in this manner versus just advertising it on their website

Thanks for the message. I've seen the website as well, but just had never seen or heard of anyone at Bain making the experienced hire to associate consultant jump. Have heard and seen numerous counts for McKinsey and BCG which is why I just wanted to see if Bain does actually hire experienced hires versus just advertising about it
Know a lot of people who made it. They definitely take them. As I understand they take people from lots of fields very regularly. Their tenure got adjusted down though, even if they were top performers at other firms (e.g. AT Kearney or Oliver Wyman).
