Econ consulting firm comparison

I’m interested in working at an econ consulting firm after I graduate from college next spring, and I’m hoping to get some input on what sets the different firms apart from each other as I decide on offers. I’ve talked to people at the different firms, and those conversations have been very helpful, but the people at each firm naturally have a strong incentive to sell their firm as the best place to work, so I’m interested in hearing some more objective input.

I’d be glad to hear any experiences you may have had with the firms’ cultures, workloads, the way they’re structured, or, if you’ve worked at any of them, your personal experiences working there. In particular, I’m interested in learning about differences between NERA, Cornerstone Research, Analysis Group, and Charles River Associates. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

Interned at CRA, they have a great culture and WLB. Seems like people tend to work ~45 hours a week with some variance week to week. People were helpful and kind and came into the office usually 2-3 days per week. I didn’t return only because I was more interested in strategy work, but I would have enjoyed working there.

Interned at Analysis Group, the work isn’t very technical but the quality is very high. WLB is great and culture nice. I didn’t find the work very interesting but just me.
