European Masters Ranking - MBB Edition

Hey chimps, I saw the European Masters Ranking post (can't add a link) and liked it except that there wasn't a consulting only version, so I did what any autistic chimp would do and pored over alumni statistics for the UK offices of the MBB trio for longer than I'd like to admit. There are a few necessary disclaimers for this data:

  1. Regarding Management & Business Administration it was not possible to separate the two, so although LBS MiM IS a strong degree for MBB, take note that the data below includes numbers for the MBA, which is similarly, if not even more, strong.

  2. Regarding the Mathematics degrees, it was not possible to separate them by programme/specialty.

  3. This ranking was compiled using data from LinkedIn to amass and average the data, so if anything is wrong, or you feel there should be a shift in the rankings, feel free to comment.

  4. This data is ONLY for the UK offices.

  5. The data ONLY considers MBB.

  6. The data considers cohort size of each degree, if it didn't, LSE's MSc in Economics would be first by a long shot.

So without further ado, here it is (in order):

Tier 1 - Strong Placement:

LBS MiM/MBA

Oxford MSc Financial Economics

Cambridge MPhil Finance & Economics

LBS MiF

Tier 2 - Good Placement:

LSE MSc Economics

LSE Mathematics (couldn't separate)

LSE MiM

Oxford MPhil International Relations

Warwick MSc Economics

Oxford MSc Mathematics (couldn't separate)

Tier 3 - Ok Placement:

LSE MiF

UCL MSc Economics

Cambridge MSc Mathematics (couldn't separate)
