Exit Consulting before or after B-School sponsorship? How does your stock fair in the market?

We have discussed at great lengths the various exit ops that exist for a Pre-MBA consultant, but not too many discussions hover around how your marketability goes either with or without the MBA sponsorship. The overwhelming majority of BA/A/ACs leave after their first 2 years for PE/Industry/School/Whatever without the intention to return to consulting. How does one's appeal grow were they to take the MBB sponsorship and return for another 2 years?

Is it overall better to exit before the MBA? Are the post and pre-MBA exits relatively equal (save for maybe salary)? Has anyone who chose to go to B-school and return to their firm found the various headhunters to increase or decrease with tenure? Lots of questions, I know, but I'm trying to look as though I have no bandwidth in this conference room. Thanks in advance for the insight.
