Experienced Hire 2025 Outlook

I'm looking to transition from my current engineering role (large tech company) to consulting in 2025. Does anyone have insight on "experienced" hiring for this coming year? Is this something that is common in the industry? I have 1 year of experience and am interested in MBB and T2 firms. Not sure if this is a realistic transition without an MBA.
