I was recently reached out by an HR from OW regarding a senior consultant role in the Financial Services practice. After a quick introductory call from HR, I had my first round interview yesterday (1 interview on resume and 1 on a full blown case). I just received word that I have been invited for a final round next week which will consist of 2 fit interviews and 3 cases.
Does anyone have any experience interviewing for OW ? Will the case interviews be focused on Financial Services or can be general in nature? Any help will be much appreciated.

In my experience, the case interviews were not FS focused when I interviewed for the FS team. However, the interviewers during the fit portion of the interview wanted to know why FS?

Hi PostMBAGrind - thanks for the info. Can you share (if you can remember) what kind of case studies did you receive? Were they more like MBB case studies (market entry, profit optimization) or more like market estimation kinds?

Bit of both actually.
You'll probably get one "MBB" case as you've called out above and one market estimation case. One differentiator, in 7 total interviews I had 4 fit and 3 case. OW came across as much more interested in fit than all but McKinsey to me.
