Freshman at semi-target - how to optimize for breaking into consulting?

Hi, I'm honestly not too sure what I should be doing as a freshman to gain the best chance of breaking into consulting @ T2/MBB.

Currently have a 1st sem gpa of ~3.75, do consulting clubs and some case competitions and all that. Also interning doing market entry for a startup. Have a previous B4 (non consulting) intern. But I guess I'm confused over what I should be doing regarding a) summer internship choices b) grades to match and c) whether networking is necessary (I do reach out to ppl I find interesting, but its not focused at all so they come from all industries not just consulting) and d) how beneficial specialising in a industry sector like TMT/environment/financial services would be

Thanks!

I'm not much help with the original question, but I was wondering about your internship experiences. I'm a current high school senior who will most likely attend a Semi-Target. Are you comfortable sharing how you applied for and acquired your B4 internship? I'm interested in pursuing consulting but don't have many relevant credentials.
