From Deloitte S&O to KAM role at FAANG: good exit?

Hi all,

After 2 years as a consultant at S&O, I would now like to exit into tech

I have a friend of mine that can refer me at AWS, and that advised me to apply to an Account Manager role in order to get a different business perspective, that could help me in my career evolution

What do you think? What are the typical exits for strategy consultants in FAANG? Does account management sound to you as a bad idea, or even as a downgrade vs. strategy?

Thanks!
