Going from EB to MBB without Networking

Hi all,

I just spent six months at an EB (Rothschild's, PWP, Laz) in a team with high deal flow in a summer internship. Simply, I did not like the work of investment banking, and I hated being in front of an Excel the whole time.

I did not get a return offer, but I was a sophomore, so it is not too surprising. I am now looking to transition into MBB, with either my last summer internship (although I know spots are already filled) or a full-time role. For anyone who has been in a similar position, I would really value any perspectives you can bring to the conversation!
