After McKinsey, Citi, and Deloitte’s spring week programs, a summer at BCG and a graduate role at Bain, I wrote a guide on getting into consulting from a student's perspective. Note this is UK-focused.

They are looking for 4 things: 1. Example of academic excellence i.e. top performer at a selective university 2. Leadership e.g. president of a major society 3. Excellence and accomplishment e.g. performer, author of a book, national sports team etc. 4. Great work experience at selective and demanding companies
