How do you carry your laptop?

My laptop is pretty light and thin, but still, I found that putting my laptop (and mouse, power cord) into a briefcase / shoulder-strapped bag makes it a bit too heavy and thick to be hung on one side of my shoulder as I walk. Do you use a backpack?

Ohh sweet god haha ... you were def one of the kids in high school with a rolling bag

Haha I carried around a shoe sack. Very comfortable, but 1) can't carry textbooks in one, it's too small, and 2) my notebooks stunk like my feet, since I used the sack to carry my basketball shoes as well.

I used a laptop bag for a while but I can agree with it being uncomfortable. For me, it's not so much the weight but that the weight is unevenly distributed across my body. I'm currently using a leather daypack (about 15in x 11in) that does wonders. I also hit the gym after work so I can just toss my clothes in there in a plastic bag and be set to go.

How about a MacBook air...this way you dont have this problem

perhaps I should have clarified at the top, but my question was for work. Seems like consulting firms have started rolling out ultrabooks, so my question might not be relevant in a year or two.
