How many edits for resume

Hi Monkeys,

I am planning to apply for McKinsey's Emerging Scholars and BCG's Pre MBA scholarship programs for this year. I solicited help of a professional resume and cover letter editor (managementconsulted.com) to help me modify the resume that I had created for my MBA applications. I also sent it out to 3 people who are already working at MBB to get their take on the same. Interestingly, all of them have provided me different tips on how to improve my resume/cover letter. This is where I am getting confused as to where to draw a line with how many and what edits I need to do on my documents.

I am sure there are professionals and experts who can guide me as to when to stop being so anal about your resume/cover letter. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks.
