How to build Excel modeling skills in consulting?

How did you learn how to build good models. Been in MBB for about 4 months now and everything seems to be learned on the job (e.g., someone coaching you across Zoom  [which I find difficult because people get impatient quickly] or you happen to meet someone who has a nice Excel model that you can repurpose).

But there seems to be no dedicated lessons to teach one to build a good model.

Any advice?
