A contact at ACN was kind enough to submit a referral on my behalf by forwarding my resume along to a recruiter and CCing me. This was approximately a week ago.
I replied and thanked my contact - is there anything else I should be doing to stay in touch with the recruiter? How should I proceed in this situation? (as you can tell I am new to the consulting recruitment world). Thanks.
Stay in touch with your contact with other questions, maybe case prep, etc.
Ask around when the interview invites are given. When that time comes and you haven't heard anything, follow-up.
Thanks Emous. Is there a general ballpark for how long this would take? I should mention that I'm at a non-target school and applying to consulting positions in a different geographic region, so the exact timelines for interview invites seem a little fuzzy.
Not really sure, but MBB interviews are in october and invites are going out now. Might be the same.
