How to prepare for Summer Internship at MBB

Hi,

I will be interning at Bain this summer and I am wondering how I should prepare? I know we will have a week of training, but I want to make sure I do what I can now.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’m in the same position as you, except at a different MBB. Definitely feel the same itch as you to get ahead, but I’ve been told many times to just relax and enjoy the rest of your year. Everything you’ll need to know will be taught on the job and in training. Congrats!

ENJOY YOUR LIFE. You worked hard, now take a breather.

As long as you know Excel up through pivot tables, and you regularly read the news, you'll be fine. For interesting reads you can find a publication or two from Bain of interest. But first and foremost, relax and enjoy.

Relax and enjoy school. Keep in touch with anyone in the office you already know. Learn some Excel, including some keyboard shortcuts. But mostly relax.
