How to write a detailed business report?
I'm writing a business report of an industry. But after I lay out the framework and my main opinions, like
Products
My opinion1, 2...
Marketing
My opinion 1, 2...
Overall, my recommendations are ...
I feel I don't have much to say. How to make the report more elaborate?
Should I try to argue for each of my opinions, or break each down into several sub-opinions, as consultants usually do for cases? (BTW, Compared with some business reports on consulting companies' websites, I feel my opinions themselves are not comprehensive enough, i.e. I have not covered all important factors that may influence the industry.)
Besides, I feel my opinions are very much like what everyone knows about an industry, and it doesn't have surprising insights, how to have insights?
