Imperial College Msc in Finance to London MBB

Hi! I’m pursuing a Msc in Finance at Imperial College Business School in September and I’d like to know if MBB in London only - or almost exclusively - hire from Oxford and Cambridge.

Thanks in advance!

It will get you past screening for sure. Imperial is very well represented at McKinsey and BCG in terms of new hires, less so Bain - although the College is stronger than the Business School. Current classes seem to be 40-50% Oxbridge, 25% LSE/Imperial, 20% UCL, Warwick, Durham, Edinburgh and other "top" RGs, 10% continental European or U.S. unis. Oxbridge dominance is far less now than it once was (although slight exception at Bain).

If you're interested, official BCG recruiting UK full targets as of 2017 leak were Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, and LSE. Require a predicted 2:1 to get past initial screening. Require a first from UCL, Warwick, Durham, etc. to get past initial screening.
