Implications of Virtual Recruiting

I think all OCR for summer internship positions is now virtual. If info sessions, coffee chats, and interviews are all online, what are the biggest implications of this change?

I would assume this would put more emphasis on unstructured networking. I'd assume that firms might set up virtual coffee chats, but that can only go so far in building relationships.

Also, I wonder if they can interview more people since it is online.

This is all speculative, so if anyone has a better idea of what this fall might be, please chime in!
