Importance of networking/referral coming from target
Basically what the title says, but I was wondering how important meeting with people in MBB firms' offices and getting referrals for summer analyst positions is. My understanding is that you need to be able to get an interview, then it is all merit/case skills-based. I come from a target, but don't know that many in MBB currently so I was worried about getting those referrals. Thanks in advance!
