Industries / Business Functions to Request as an Incoming Analyst

I'll be a first-year analyst (AC/BA/Associate) at a MBB on the West Coast starting in January. I'm pretty indifferent to staffing location and project leads (at least for the first several projects before I can get too close with anyone), so I was hoping to receive some advice on really interesting industries / business functions to request.

For industries, I'm pretty interested in gaming & lodging, travel & infrastructure, and any disruptive tech especially in the food space (like Beyond Meat).

For business functions, I was primarily thinking strategy or restructuring/transformation, but really have no clue.

Any thoughts or areas I might be missing that could be super interesting?
