Is/Will MBB lay-off consultants who are not at established CTL points?
e.g. CTLing people who are 6 months, 1 year, or 18 months into the firm due to a combination of the COVID economy and poor performance

Bump. Also curious
Did not sound like it from multiple internal updates at my MBB. Leadership mentioned slightly lower recruiting targets and hinted at natural CTL/attrition allowing to adapt for business needs if necessary. No mention or rumor about additional cuts. This will likely vary by office/region, though.
Do you have any insight into summer interns starting summer 2021? Is it business as usual? Or will mbb be accepting less interns? Will it be more competitive than usual?
Slightly smaller intakes. Maybe 10-20% lower, so competition would likely increase from the sheer number standpoint. I'd add that I expect MBB consulting likely to come out as a desirable/safe job option as a result of this crisis, which would make it more competitive.
Any specifics since the last update?
Not on my end, having seen our internal pipeline it seems like we will have decent utilization for the weeks/months to come. Price could be down a little bit, but still not a huge bench situation.
