Job offer decisions!
Hey guys, I have 3 offers that I'm trying to decide between. I want to base my decision on the type of work and bschool placement. Any insight would be appreciated greatly.
1) Big 4 Financial Advisory- Operational Process Consulting
2) F500 Corporate Strategy- Major airlines
3) Boutique Decision Sciences/Data Analytics Firm
I also want to work for MBB eventually so I'd also like to keep that in mind for long term exit ops.

I'd pick 1 or 2 given your goals. Personally I'd probably lean towards 2 out of interest.

Well, if you want to work at an MBB, aka strategy consulting, it would make sense to work in corporate strategy eh?
I've seen more people lateral into MBB from corporate strategy than Banking. This is for regional offices, though. If it were me, I'd take 2.
Certainly 2. MBB leans toward any strategy for F500 over B4 roles. Also better chances for top b-school.
As with everyone else, I suggest taking option 2. I know plenty of people that have transferred from F500 Strategy roles to good consulting gigs, and get into good bschools as well.
I'd pick the 2nd. Based on my discussions during recruiting season with MBB people, airlines are a major part of their revenue stream. Expertise in the industry would be very valuable to them I assume

While it might make more sense given your career goals to go with 1 or 2, I know first hand that data analytics is HUGE right now. Could be a good place to start in a role that has a massive potential.
