Joining new company remotely, when many people go to the office?
Hey there,
Ex-FAANG, worked for about 5 years as a technical analyst and got a really great offer for an exciting startup in Oslo/CPH. Big pay bump, it'll look good on the CV and I love the product. I'm based in the UK. I'm allowed to work remote from the UK, but almost everyone else seems to be both from that country and goes to the office regularly.
I can imagine this has pretty material career implications - does anyone have experience with this or advice? As much as I love where I live now (and almost all my friends are here), considering to move to this place because I don't want to feel alienated at work.
