Lateral from boutique to Tier 2 consulting interview

Hi,

I'm at a boutique consulting firm now (2 years), and recently received an email from a recruiter on a position at a Tier 2 firm. I was wondering what the interview process would be like at this stage? (more fit, or would I have to prepare for cases as well?)

I am also wondering, and if anyone has any experience that would be great as well, if it would be possible to negotiate a 2-year+ role starting position (e.g. I'm an equivalent to an Analyst position now, and was thinking if I lateral I would be considered for an Associate role instead of having to start from an Analyst again)?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks!
