London, UK to NYC transfers - Who has experience?

This is one for all the Brits on here.

I am currently working at Capgemini Consulting in London specializing in FS, and have been for a year now on their grad scheme.

I really want to move to NYC (or Toronto as a backup) and was wondering how people have gone about it previously.

I have previously posed the question to people in the company and it seems that it is only possible for people in the Senior Consultant or above grade (4 years minimum experience). So I have turned my attention to applying to other consultancies in London now with the hope of securing an internal transfer to NYC by the end of 2019.

So I want to know which consultancies in your experience provide the greatest opportunity for internal transfer from London to NYC? I am going to take MBB out of the equation as I doubt my academic background will cut it with them.
