Management/Strategy consulting firms in Kansas

Just wanted to get an idea on some strategy or management consulting firms in Kansas. I will be moving to Kansas and have around 2.5 years of experience in a boutique strategy consulting based in the UAE. Just wanted to get a general idea on what the market is like and what typical compensation structures are like. Is getting a local degree an absolute necessity to break into the market?

Tried Googling anything? Instinctive reaction is to say very few firms have offices there. Best bet is to either find a local boutique or work for a larger firm and see if they can offer a hybrid / remote working model where you are based on Kansas but aligned to a nearby office (Denver / Chicago for most large firms) and travel there every so often. Could also try and find a middle ground between the two e.g., finding a boutique firm you really like in a major city nearby that offers the remote / hybrid approach.
