MBA -> BB IBD -> MBB

Have folks heard of anyone going MBA -> BB IBD -> MBB. Realize this is an unorthodox path for reasons already explored in other WSO threads / similar sites but curious as to what's possible regardless. What was their "story" and at what level did they enter MBB?

In my case, it would look more like: T2 MC -> T2 MBA (think Emory, Vandy, Georgetown) -> BB IBD -> MBB

I assume T2 MC / T2 MBA (lack of prestige), among other things, would hinder ability to go MBB down the line but any thoughts appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why do BB IBD when your chances are greater in MBB? Unless you're gunning for NYC MBB, you're better off applying to MBB directly from your MBA at a Southern office.

Tier 2 pre MBA MC experience plus a respected enough uni like Vandy or Georgetown. The issue would be if T7 MBAs competed for the same offices, but those guys would rather stick to where their hometurf is.
