MBB background check - layoff
Hi guys. Recently accepted an MBB offer and going through the background check process. I am a bit nervous since I was layoff from a company 3 years ago and I did not bring up in the interview. I have finished my master and worked at another firm since then so interviewers usually didn't ask for the reason for leaving that job.
Anyone had experience with MBB rescinding their offers upon discovering someone was laid-off from a job?
They'll just verify that you worked there and the dates you worked there. Employers don't look into the reason you left during a background check (obviously, can ask in an interview though).
