MBB FT - Questions?

Hey monkeys,

I had a couple of questions regarding the FT MBB process.

  • When do accelerated interviews start? I got two final rounds with MBB but no offer so should I expect an invite to the same?

  • What do most FT hires do for the summer internship? I haven't been able to lock up a job yet. Would it be better to go to my home country and do a making-coffee-running-errands internship with a brand name firm or should I just do summer school here? Of course this is assuming I can't convert the few other interviews I have managed to get.

Thanks.

Most likely won't get accelerated interviews as a result of getting to final round. Accelerated interviews are for people with exploding offers (usually at the top firms), not for people who did okay in spring interviews.

FT hires did a range of things their prior summer. Some did banking, consulting at any number of shops, corporate internships, and some even do non-business related internships.... there is a huge range. Getting an interview is more about your GPA + SAT + leadership
