MBB Implementation or MBA
Hello, can any monkeys give advice for my situation please. I am interviewing for MBB Implementation position and also interviewing for MBA currently. I have 5-10 years experience in industry with F500 companies, looking to move into MC. How would you compare the two options, what to base the decision on? Is the cost of MBA worth it if end up with a similar job at the end of it, and which option is likely to have better exit opportunities?
I think it really depends on what you are getting an MBA for. Without knowing that, it's pretty hard to say whether or not it is worth it.
i believe what i am asking is how beneficial is it to have an MBA before moving into the MC field. from your experience will it open up significantly more opportunities, or will the experience gained in an implementation role be sufficient? i'm considering the MBA for the additional commercial skills, to develop a more diverse network and to work in consulting afterwards.
