MBB policy on laptops/blackberries
What is the general policy for laptops/blackberries for summer interns and full time hires?
I have a summer internship and am worried my laptop isn't sufficient (it is falling apart). Do companies generally provide or subsidize this equipment?
Would be the first time that you don't get a laptop and phone from your employer. You'll deal with sensitive information so your own equipment is not even worth considering. Don't worry about it.
Just laptops for interns over where I live. Phones are only for full-time hires.

Laptops & crackberries for MBA summer interns here at MBB in Chile. Laptop at least for pre-mba.
Don't worry - they will provide you with a company computer and/or BlackBerry.
Agreed, you don't need to worry at all about using your own computer - they'll provide one.
You should also be provided a phone at MBB - expect it will be a blackberry, we're migrating to iPhones but I don't think they're going to hand them out for 2-3 month stints.
