MBB post MBA without GMAT
The title is pretty self explanatory... I'm enrolled in a top 15 MBA program and I've never taken the GMATs. Is this going to be a problem with MBB or Deliotte?

Assume this means you took the GRE. You'll need to put that score on your resume, then I'd suggest doing the converter thing and putting the GMAT equivalent score in parentheses next to your GRE. Make it clear that it's only a conversion though, don't try to pass it off as if you took the GMAT
Are you sure it's a top 15 program? I've never heard of any top 15 school letting in someone without a GMAT or GRE score.
Yes I'm sure, at the time of admission I was given a waiver for the GMAT. My question still stands though, is this going to be an issue when applying to MBB?
You're going to have to give way more context than you're giving...but yes this is going to be a huge issue for McKinsey, Bain, BCG, and Deloitte. They are going to assume you have a low score and are trying to hide it. Likewise, it's one of the main metrics they look like to see if you're smart enough for the job.
I'm not looking to give anymore context then i already have. I was given a waiver by the university and was wondering if that would be an issue with MBB. Based on your response, it appears it will be an issue...

I did recruiting whilst at an MBB. No one will care to put extra effort into investigating why you were so special, especially if you are evasive. Plenty of other folks with 750+ to choose from. Your chances are lessened also if you are on the lower end of the top 15. If you were top 5 or 10 you'd have said so.
This is pretty close to a non-starter. If someone on the team gets your resume and there is no score, we MIGHT inquire and find out what the score was (with you directly or in the application system), but as others have said, you'll probably just get passed over for someone else whose profile is as good and has the score. As highly sought after employers, we hold pretty much all the cards.
Sounds pretty shady. Is this an executive MBA? MBB recruiting is pretty hardass and even the slightest discrepancy could get your CV thrown out
I appreciate all the comments as they've been very helpful. As I mentioned before, I'll have to discuss this with the recruiter/school and decide whether or not I take them as an entrance exam to work in MBB. Seems a bit silly but I understand each company has their own candidate criteria.
Just by saying "Seems a bit silly" is enough to tell me you don't get it. Every post MBA employer I've applied to has expected to see my gmat score.
And if you're in an executive program, own it. It does matter because clearly the admissions standards are more lax.

Not to derail the thread entirely but I'm in a somewhat similar position except I do have a GRE score. Any worth fretting over not having an actual gmat score? The calculator does say it converts to a 780 so If they believe the calculator then I'm not too worried but If they don't...

Not sure why someone can't comprehend and answer a simple question... They must not teach that at top 5 schools.
You'll be fine with the GRE. It's not as commonly seen during recruiting but sounds like you did well, so I wouldn't bother with taking the GMAT.

If the rest of your profile is solid, you go to a top school where they recruit on-campus, and you network well, you can get an interview. Then it's all about your performance in the interview.

I work for large Pharma. I have a PhD (GPA:4.0) from a top Ivy League university in Engineering. I received the best dissertation award across all Engineering departments from my university. I have published more the 10 research articles in top-tier journals. I am thinking of applying to the APD program at McKinsey. My GRE scores aren't that great (Q800, V650). Do you think I should take the GMAT before applying? Thanks for your help!

No, an Ivy PhD will be more than enough to get a Round 1 invite from McKinsey. You'll be taking the PST in the first round so they will assess your quant skills there.
Thanks for the comments! I am worried about my less than ideal GRE verbal score. I think I can do better if I take the GMAT, but I will lose time on my case interview preparation.
