MBB, RB, big 4 in Riyadh

Hello there!

I’m a senior Engineering student at targeted local school.

I’m considering a career switch to consulting.

I heard that offices cultures and businesses are varied from region to other. Most of the content here are US/Europe based.

Please provide me with anything you know about any of them in Riyadh offices.

My question: What kind of business do they do in Saudi? How difficult it is to get an offer form the MBB? How much do they pay for locals?

KSA specifically is mainly public sector market (esp. BCG & McK) or state owned enterprises, however the actual type of business problems being solved can be quite diverse and sometimes very unique/ first-of-its-kind.

Always a big push for local Saudi talent with consulting firms. If you're from a local target school, you should have no issue getting interviews at most places. The interview process itself will be similar to anywhere else in the world, with more cases probably set in public sector context.

Many consulting firms pay high compensation for expats to relocate to KSA, but believe salaries for Saudis may be slighly lower.
