Essentially the same as the US offices. So if you're coming from Europe you'll get a very decent bump in base and bonus first, and then get to keep the bulk of it because of the basically non existent taxes. Not sure what you can expect in terms of profit sharing, as in absolute numbers.

If you want specifics I'll ask a buddy of mine, he got asked to move there and knows the figures for 2016

MBB salaries post-MBA compensation isn't always the same as US across the board, right? Interested in SE Asia since I have family there, but was told to base in US first then seek to transfer. Just know competition would be less harsh applying abroad, leveraging my dual citizenship and culture, but also would much prefer west-equivalent salary of course.

Thanks for that insight. Yes I'd be looking for a temporary assignment 1-2yrs abroad. And having that said, making US comp in SE Asia would be incredible given steep exchange rate. Easier said than done to break into a MBB office Stateside regardless of course.

Currently MBB who has worked in Dubai:

Monthly salaries for entry level (BA/A/AC) are ~25,000 AED and bonus from 5-30% of your annual comp For post-MBA, monthly salaries are ~45-50,000 AED and bonus from 10-40% of your annual comp EM/PL levels monthly salaries are ~55-60,000 AED and bonus from 20-60% of your annual comp

AED is pegged to USD at 1USD : 3.67AED

- Housing Allowance: $15,000 ($22,000 if you have kids/married) - Bonus: 20% of base salary (performance based) - Home leave allowance (flight tickets to your hometown): $2000 per employee and family member per year (to North America - depends on the distance to your home country)

Do they give you any car / transportation allowance ?

Base Salaries are the same in Dubai except you get to exempt 108K on taxes if you are a US citizen. so you only pay taxes on a portion of your salary.

I was told that MBB do not pay housing allowance (not sure how this could be different if moving from Europe Or US). you get relocation and signing bonus as well.
